“The measure of a law firm is not only what it achieves for paying clients — it is what it does for those who have no one else to turn to.”
Our Programmes
How We Give Back — Locally & Globally
Family Law Pro Bono
Free legal assistance to families navigating divorce, custody disputes, and domestic violence situations. Since 1994, over 400 families have received representation at no cost through this programme, chaired personally by Dr. Ingrid Lehmann.
Refugee & Asylum Support
In partnership with Frankfurt refugee organisations, Sofia Hartmann leads our asylum and immigration pro bono work — helping displaced individuals and families navigate Germany's legal system during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Community Legal Clinics
Every quarter, LexBerg attorneys volunteer at free community legal clinics across Frankfurt and, increasingly, through virtual clinics accessible to German-speaking communities abroad — offering consultations on employment, tenancy, consumer rights, and cross-border legal matters to those who cannot otherwise afford legal advice.
Student Mentorship
We partner with Goethe University Frankfurt and local law schools to mentor the next generation of German lawyers — offering internships, moot court coaching, and career guidance to students from underrepresented backgrounds.
International Access to Justice
Through our global partner network, LexBerg extends pro bono support to individuals facing legal hardship across borders — including inheritance disputes, cross-border custody matters, and immigration emergencies affecting clients in Africa, the Middle East, and beyond who have no access to qualified German legal counsel.
