Since 1994
Three Decades of Justice — From Frankfurt to the World
LexBerg was not built overnight. It was built through hard-won courtroom victories, through the quiet determination of two founding partners, and through an unwavering belief that great legal work changes lives — regardless of jurisdiction. What started in a Frankfurt office with six people has become a firm trusted by clients across five continents. This is our story.
The Founding
Dominik Fassbinder and Dr. Ingrid Lehmann open LexBerg's doors in Frankfurt's Westend district with a team of 6. The firm focuses on corporate law and family law — two pillars that remain central to LexBerg to this day.
First Major Arbitration Win
LexBerg secures a landmark €12M arbitration victory for a mid-market manufacturer in a cross-border commercial dispute — putting the firm on the map as a serious litigation practice.
Criminal Defense Practice Opens
Maximilian Schreiber joins as partner, launching LexBerg's criminal defense division. His very first high-profile case — a complex white-collar fraud trial — ends in full acquittal after 9 months in court.
Pro Bono Committee Founded
Dr. Ingrid Lehmann establishes LexBerg's formal Pro Bono Committee — providing free legal services to families in financial hardship. Within the first year, the firm assists 40 families at no cost.
€1 Billion in Client Recoveries
LexBerg surpasses €1 billion in cumulative client recoveries. The firm expands to 30 staff and relocates to the 12th floor of Tower B, Gallusanlage 7, Frankfurt am Main.
Going Global
Sofia Hartmann joins, launching LexBerg's immigration and international employment practice. Within two years the firm is advising clients across 18 countries spanning Europe, North America, Africa, and the Middle East — with particular strength in EU Blue Card mandates and cross-border employment disputes.
Real Estate & IP Practices Launch
Benjamin Koch joins and rapidly builds LexBerg's real estate and intellectual property practices — advising on €800M+ in property transactions and a growing base of tech industry IP clients.
JUVE Law Firm of the Year — Frankfurt
LexBerg receives the JUVE Award for Law Firm of the Year in Frankfurt — Germany's most prestigious legal industry recognition, acknowledging 25 years of consistent excellence across all practice areas.
JUVE Award — Second Time
LexBerg wins the JUVE Award for a second time. Maximilian Schreiber is also individually recognised as Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year — a rare double award for a single firm.
Today — 32 Years Strong. Five Continents Wide.
48 team members. 12 practice areas. 12,000+ cases. 94% success rate. €1.2 billion recovered. Clients across 22 countries on 5 continents — Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. And the same founding belief: exceptional legal work, delivered with genuine human care, wherever in the world it's needed.
